Where To See the Best Christmas Light Displays in Dallas-Fort Worth

1. Interlochen

For more than 40 years, the Arlington neighborhood of Interlochen has transformed its streets into the hottest of holiday hot spots. When you drive through the Interlochen Holiday Lights Display, find twinkling lights, fun animatronics, and more at nearly 200 homes to celebrate Christmas! You can enter the neighborhood from Westwood Drive at Randol Mill Road to look at the lights from 6-11 p.m. through Christmas. Don’t forget the hot cocoa, snacks, and holiday tunes for your drive through Interlochen!


2. highland park carriage rides

If you want to see the glitziest and most glamorously decorated homes in Dallas this holiday season, there’s no better way to see them than on a horse-drawn carriage ride! Brazos Carriage Company now offers rides through the famous Highland Park Christmas lights now until December 30th. You can book a carriage ride for 2 to 10 people! Plus there is FREE parking at the pick-up location!


3. The Dallas Arboretum

The iconic Christmas Village at the Dallas Arboretum is back and better than ever this year! Wander through 66 acres of stunning Christmas installations where you can take family pictures, participate in seasonal events, and enjoy holiday music! You HAVE TO see the dazzling, 50-foot musical tree, the Victorian 12-Days-of-Christmas gazebos and, of course, Santa himself!


4. Grapevine Main Street

With every inch of Main Street COVERED in lights and Christmas decor, Grapevine, Texas is the place to be this holiday season! Grab your besties, a cup of hot cocoa or a glass of wine from the many wineries and make your way to Grapevine. They have countless Christmas trees, light structures, decked-out storefronts and so much more.


5. Fort Worth Stockyards

Celebrate the Holiday Season the Stockyards way! Giddy up and glide on the Stockyards Ice Skating Rink, check out Santa's Grand Arrival Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on East Exchange Avenue, and catch Storytime with Mrs. Claus with the kiddos! Or, of course, you can always check out the daily cattle drive while the whole scene is decked out for the Holidays! There's something for everyone this year!


6. Lightscape

This is without a doubt the most aesthetic and wonderful holiday light experience that Tarrant County has to offer. Lightscape is set up at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden as a family-friendly, illuminated walking trail. It's a full mile of suspended strands, light tunnels, captivating displays and a beautiful fire garden. 7. The light Park

The Light Park at Hurricane Harbor in Arlington is open now through Jan. 1, and it is FESTIVE with a capital "F"! But this year, there is also a Light Park location at Rider Field in Frisco as well! Tickets start at just $29 per car for this drive-through experience with MILLIONS of lights, the best Christmas tunes, fun props and Electric Lemonade (it lights up)! This is unique because as you drive through the immersive experience, you tune you car radio into to the proper frequency, and the lights dance along with the Christmas music blaring from your speakers!


8. Dalla Zoo Lights

The Dallas Zoo has about a million reasons to come to Dallas Zoo Lights 2023! More than 1 million lights will be strung up, and the Zoo is open for walk-through viewings on select days starting Nov. 17 through Jan. 2, 5:30-10 p.m. Check the schedule and buy tickets here. They're $14 for youth members ($18 for non-members) and $18 for adult members ($22 for non-members) — and it's all a few bucks cheaper on "non-premium" nights!


9. Vitruvian Lights

Vitruvian Lights in Addison is open daily from 5pm - 11p.m. NOW until January 8th! We recommend going on a Monday or Tuesday to really have the place to yourself! Plus there are tons of restaurants in the area to grab a bite from before or after your visit!


10. Prairie LIghts

Prairie Lights is one of the premier holiday light parks in Texas, located at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie. Prairie Lights 2022 will feature Holiday Village, the magical walk-thru forest, carnival rides, photos with Santa, holiday shopping and more. They're open every night From Thanksgiving to New Years Eve, starting at 6 p.m., and they'll let you line up in your car until 10. They're charging $50 per car, or $149 per car if you want to skip the line with a fast pass.
