1. liberty lounge
Liberty Lounge is a neighborhood bar with a heart in Fort Worth's Southside neighborhood. “I want to create a community,” owner Jenna Hill-Higgs told the FW Weekly in 2020 before the bar opened. “This is a place that is safe and where you know that you matter and are heard. There are so many adults who feel lost and disconnected. I don’t care if you come in and say, ‘Can I just get water? I’ve had a crap day.’ The whimsy logo outside, the bright colors, they convey that this is where you can relax.”
2. MyOhMy the show
MyOhMy has recently expanded from their primary drag show, now called La Fantaisie that can be seen each and every Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Some of their events are held at the Historic Flat Iron Building in Downtown and others are held at the Sleeping Panther Club in East Fort Worth. They hold Fort Worth's best interactive drag brunch show, each Saturday and Sunday at noon. Their Drag Bingo shows are held Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 p.m. MyOhMy also puts on Friday night Burlesque shows, and they'll be expanding their schedule even more in the upcoming months.
3. club reflection
Club Reflection is Fort Worth's LGBTQIA2S+ country western bar, with nightly drink specials, also in the Southside. They host regular Queerlesque shows and feature drag performances on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
4. club changes
There's a reason many in the Fort Worth LGBTQIA2S+ community call Changes the Gay "Cheers" of Fort Worth. It sits just east of Downtown and offers great drink specials and a cute little patio, perfect for taking in the views of the city on a warm night. The dive-bar vibes are accentuated with cool but subdued lighting that keeps things flirty and friendly at all times.
5. urban cowboy saloon
The Urban Cowboy Saloon is Fort Worth's largest LBGTQIA2S+ night club. It's home to drag shows, drag brunches and is a popular stop for International Drag Superstars and DJs. One of their most popular Drag shows, titled, "The Shit Show," hits the stage every Friday at 11 p.m.
6. 1851 club
Arlington's 1851 Club is a friendly spot that features EXTENDED Happy Hour specials from 4-9 p.m. weekdays, pool, darts and a come-as-you-are vibe. They host drag shows every Friday and Saturday nights, where truly ANYTHING is possible. "You never know what you're gonna get, but what our queens serve is always good," according to the bar's website.
