Bring on the Pumpkin Spice! We don't know about y'all, but we can't wait for fall. So we're starting a running list of some of our favorite fall-themed coffee shop treats that either have been released already or will soon be. Check back on this post, because we will be updating it as more and more fall flavors are released!
1. fiction coffee
Fiction coffee is the truth, y'all, and they are already brewing some serious fall flavors. The Godfather ($5.25) is a vanilla and black pepper cappucino with a salty + sweet spice garnish. The Lovecraft Country ($6-$6.50) is a cinnamon and basil cider garnished with more cinnamon powder, and we absolutely loved this one. The Pulp Fiction ($6-$6.50) is a lovely spiced amaretto latte garnished with blood orange bitters, and don't forget to try their other two fall options, available at all three of Fiction's Dallas locations!
2. ascension coffee
Aside from the traditional PSLs, which we CANNOT get enough of, we are also loving Ascension's Seasonal Cortado "Pie" Flight ($12) — with flavors like apple, blueberry, pumpkin spice and cardamom inspired by our favorite season's best pies! Be sure not to miss Ascension's Pear Matcha Latte or a nice Chaider, which is a heart-warming mixture of chai and hot apple cider.
3. merit coffee
You can never go wrong with the Harvest Spice Latte ($5.75) at either of Merit Coffee's Dallas locations, of course, but don't sleep on the Apple Cider Chai ($6.50-$7.50), either! For something smooth over ice, give their Shaken Maple Pecan ($7-$8) a whirl, too, because unfortunately, warmer weather doesn't go away just because coffee shops start GIVING us fall.
4. SIP STIR
Sip Stir will feature their PSL, an Apple Crisp Latte and a Maple Brown Sugar Latte that we just can't wait to try! All syrups (pumpkin spice, apple and maple brown sugar) are made in-house.
5. window seat coffee
Window Seat Coffee's answer to the PSL hype? Try their delicious Sweet Potato Latte, pictured above, which is that immaculate cafe latte of theirs with house-made sweet potato syrup. They are also featuring a sweet matcha latte — green tea powder mixed with lavender syrup and steamed whole milk.
Foxtrot's Pumpkin Pie Latte is the stuff of Uptown Legend. PLUS, two new fall specials are joining the Foxtrot cafe this season: the Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate that’s like a bonfire in a cup, and a Spirit Tea Toddy that fuses organic Rooibos tea with pear, vanilla, and ginger.
7. drip coffee
Drip Coffee does pumpkin spice and gingerbread offerings year-round, but this fall, the Pumpkin Spice experience comes in four different formats: the traditional PSL, a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, a Pumpkin Spice Brainfreeze (think coffee slushee) and a Pumpkin Spice Dirty Chai.
Halcyon on Lower Greenville has brought back their Caramel Apple Pie Latte from last year and will finalize more fall menu items in the coming days. You can always add their rosemary brown sugar syrup to any drink for an extra kick of fall flavor, too!
9. Berni Bean
Watch out for a little Pumpkin Spice and more fall options from Berni Bean. More to come as more info comes our way!
10. Union Coffee
The nonprofit Union Coffee's fall lineup was scheduled to go live the second week of September — we're still waiting on a little more information! Have you been by? Spill the tea on their fall offerings!
