4-Coupon tuesdays

Discounts extend to the Midway for 4-COUPON TUESDAYS. Most rides on the Midway are discounted to just four coupons, with Kiddie rides discounted to three coupons ALL DAY TUESDAY! The only rides this offer does not apply to are the Thrillway and the Texas Star Ferris Wheel.

Thrifty Thursdays

Every Thursday of the Fair, feel free to go Hog Wild at the food stands, as guests can save while snacking all day! Participating food vendors will offer one of their their signature items at a reduced price on Thrifty Thursdays.

Thursdays are also Senior Days

Bring mom, dad, gramma and gramps! Every Thursday, senior citizens 60 and older can get into the Fair for just $5!

Dr. Pepper Value Days

Combine those Tuesday/Thursday offers with this one for maximum weekday savings! Every Tuesday and Thursday of the Fair, purchase your admission ticket online for a reduced price of ONLY $10 on Dr. Pepper Value Days. Opening Day Deal

Bring two jars of peanut butter to donate to the North Texas Food Bank for a special Opening Day promotional price of $10 admission at the gate. This discount is only available at the gate — not online.

feed the need wednesdays

Fairgoers will receive admission for only $5 by bringing five canned food items to the gate with them on Wednesdays. All canned donations go to the North Texas Food Bank, which helps feed community members throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Last year, more than 280,000 pounds of food were donated through this program — that's 233,333 meals that North Texas Food Bank was able to provide to the community through this program.

Make an Evening of it

On ANY night of the week, all Fairgoers can get in for a reduced general admission after 5 p.m. No matter your age, all guests pay the child price for that day. This offer is available at the gate and online after 5 p.m. every day.

At Participating McDonalds Locations

Discount coupons are available at participating McDonald's locations throughout North Texas on tray liners and inside their meal bags. With this coupon, any Fairgoer can save $5 on admission on weekdays (Monday-Friday) and $7 on admission on weekends.

Buy Coupons in advance online

Tickets get you inside the gates, and coupons are food food, rides and games. Everyone knows this. Each coupon costs one green dollar. Everyone knows this, too. But to avoid the quagmire that can be standing in the coupon line on a busy day at the Fair, we recommend purchasing your coupons online before you head in.

The Fair posts an online food map each year (including the locations of the Big Tex Fair Food winners). Download that map, figure out which gate you need to enter through for your favorites, and have a rough idea of location, location, location of the important Fair landmarks — the most important of which are all the food stalls you need to try, of course.
