3. Sunset Sail on White Rock Lake

Shuffleboard is a game of precision. A subtle touch or tap can swing the result from a win to a loss, or vice versa. Sounds a lot like dating, TBH. But you've never seen shuffleboard quite like they do it at this Deep Ellum haunt. When you walk in, the industrial-style bar will immediately catch your eye. But the gameplay will keep you coming back for more. The digital interactive gameplay was developed by literal rocket scientists. 5. Free Two-Stepping Classes at Cowboys Red River
Did you know that Cowboys Red River offers FREE 2-stepping classes every day they’re open? That's Wednesday - Saturday, starting at 7:15 p.m.! It is such a fun experience! Be sure to stick around after the classes to dance for fun, socialize and enjoy the live music!

The longest-running improv comedy show in the Southwest lives in Dallas (and in Fort Worth, too)! Do yourself and your date a favor and go see them — then go again — because no two Four Day Weekend shows are ever the same! 7. Dinner, a Movie, Bowling and Games at EVo
EVO in the Southlake Town Square offers you the chance to play VR games in two different formats: their new Hologate multi-player VR, which brings an ever-growing list of fully-growing library of immersive challenges to your fingertips, or their Omni-Arena VR for groups of four who want to take part in co-op challenges or kid-friendly games. They also have an onsite movie theater and bowling alley — and a Dallas location is scheduled to open sometime in 2023 as well.
8. Dinner and a Movie at Flix Brewhouse
This cinema + brewhouse combo has locations in Frisco and Mansfield, and we're sold! They have a full tap room and luxury theaters at both locations and servers to make sure you get the ultimate viewing experience! It’s seriously the best place to watch a movie in DFW!
9. Feed the Giraffes at the Dallas Zoo
Get up close with the gentle giants of the Dallas Zoo — the reticulated giraffes at the giraffe feeding platform on the Diane and Hal Brierley Giraffe Ridge. It’s $6 to feed the giraffes (or 2 for $10), but looking is always free.
10. Malibu Apothecary
Create a signature scent while learning the basics of fragrance composition, all while enjoying complimentary light bites, at Malibu Apothecary in the Design District. Each class is about two and a half hours, and you get to choose your favorite jar as a starting point, then get started pouring your own clean, custom candle with coconut, soy wax and your favorite ingredient! You'll also be able to design a personalized label, and it's BYOB! Cost is $57.
11. Il Modo Pasta-Making Classes
The great Downtown Fort Worth Italian restaurant Il Modo conducts monthly pasta-making courses, and they are so much fun to be a part of! The class is about an hour and a half long, and you will make two different types of pasta from scratch. Two pasta samplings are included and you can also order wine, cocktails, or appetizers to snack on during the experience.
12. Cidercade
The Dallas Design District plays host to another of our favorite haunts that mix a good drink with a great dose of arcade-style nostalgia. We love the Cidercade, and so will you! They have expanded with locations in Fort Worth and Arlington, but the original is one of the spots on this list we keep going back to. $10 admission gets you unlimited play on more than 140 arcade machines, and frequent flyers can save even more money by signing up for a $15 monthly membership.
13. Sixes Cricket
Don't sleep on the food at this unique indoor/outdoor cricket bar in The Colony at Grandscape! Sixes Cricket is the first social cricket bar in the US where you can eat, drink and play with friends! In addition to being the perfect night out with your crew, this place has an amazing menu of freshly made bites, shakes, cocktails, and mocktails! The space here is huge and they have indoor and outdoor pods, so you can take your cricket game out on the patio or bring it indoors. Would you believe that the pic above was taken at a mini-golf venue? Puttery at Grandscape in The Colony puts a modern spin on putt-putt with high-tech gameplay, craft cocktails and curated bites! This isn't normal putt-putt, it's cool putt-putt! There are four different courses, and each course is designed to transport you to an unknown location giving you a mini-golf experience like no other!
15. Couples' Skate at Thunderbird Roller Rink
Switch up your usual date night plans and get your retro fix at Thunderbird Roller Rink in Plano! This old school roller rink will transport you right back to childhood and although it costs to enter, nostalgia is completely free!Whether you’re a beginner or pro, you can spend time vibing (or falling) on the roller rink, or setting a new high score in the arcade! It only costs $8 to skate and $2 for skate rentals, so it’s perfect if you’re ballin’ on a budget! Kids are obviously welcome here, but they do have adult-only skate nights once a month.
