As we start the new year, we want to keep a running list of all of the amazing new restaurants, bars and shops we've covered around the metroplex on social media. To sum it up - $5 lunch time mini margaritas won our hearts. I mean what’s more perfect than the perfectly portioned marg for you to still be able to function at work after? If instagrammable spaces are your thing, they have stunning and inviting patio, with a covered section so you can still enjoy a outdoor ambiance while it rains and plenty of fans and heaters when needed too. The food was delish and we recommend starting with the trio to try their queso, guac and cilantro ranch dip. *extra emphasis on the cilantro ranch dip*.

truck yard // sprawling patio bar

After patiently waiting for months, Fort Worth finally has our very own located in Alliance! This is a super popular patio hangout in Dallas and the Colony, but If you’ve never been to one of the other Truck Yard locations - they are super family and dog friendly with tons of outdoor and indoor seating, food trucks, games, live music, a dog park and this location even has a ferris wheel!

This vibey new spot is the definition of a true cocktail bar! The entire menu is thoughtfully crafted with original cocktails and your favorite classics! They even have a full list of MOCKTAILS for those of you who are taking it easy! Themed like a ‘70s living room, this bar will transport you right back to your grandmother’s house with nostalgic paintings, decor and games! Open from 5pm-2am, this is the perfect place to start or end your night!

Pink couches, champagne on repeat, a giant champagne ice bucket and all the vibes? Sign us up!! They have more than 15 champagnes and sparkling wines by the glass as well as 50 labels by the bottle. So don’t worry, you won’t find yourself thirsty here. You can also snack on some light menu items that pair perfectly with bubbly(and cocktails too!) This is a perfect spot for date night or GNO and offers bar seating, booths and couches for you and your whole crew to enjoy!

It’s an intimate spot and would be great for date night or round up the girls and make plans to go for Fiasco Hour and get $4 APPS⁠, $9 BUILD YOUR OWN MARTINI⁠, $5 WINE⁠, $3 DRAFT BEER⁠. Their pizzas are the perfect bite to enjoy while sipping on your martinis or if you’re extra hungry go all in on the Baked Manicotti or Chicken Parm.

El Carlos Elegante // Latin American Restaurant

Stunning is an understatement for the decor inside this new Latin American restaurant that just opened its doors! This is a Mexican inspired spot that serves a focused menu of family-style bites, meats, and creative dishes! Elegant chandeliers fall from the ceiling, while cozy fireplaces illuminate the dining room! Choose to dine outside in the covered courtyard, or inside the mid-century main room. The vibes set in as soon as you sit down! Similar to its sister restaurants, The Charles and Sempre Sister, the menu here is designed to create a unique tasting experience. The dishes are fresh and fun, offering shareables for the table or small plates for each person!
